Not really, Angorodon will ruin one out of 20-30 runs, Raptor patrol can be easily avoided and majority of the foes in the cave consist of three groups of which two can be easily aggroed if you time your enterence in the cave right and then lured toward the third (boss) group.

Not if your a bot and just running straight to the cave. They wont stop to let the raptor patrol at the start pass.

Why ask this question? unless you want answers to farming this area with a bot, I am happy it's all gamers farming this location, Death to all Bots, these gold operators need real JOBS, and people that buy GOLD should be BANNED forever.

If you double click on anything there to try and walk there you run straight into a wall every time. So maybe the bots tried, spent a few days walking into walls and then gave up.

I'll bet that's it

yeah but since the dinos in cave have differant spawns and move around its not as simple as 55. Too many variables for bots imo.

Beats me. It's an obvious candidate for botting. One reason might be that botting as a whole has gone down sharply compared to the 55-farming-of-griffons days. Even the eles in shing jea don't really compare. It seems to me most bots I see now are "hobbyist" bots, basically people using simple scripts for hfff farming and such, not "real" goldseller bots farming for rl cash.
Another factor is that for easiest hm farm of raptor nestlings you need to have completed the game with the account, and aquired a PvE skill. Maybe ANet is sufficiently effective at stopping botters that accounts rarely live that long.

Other reasons include:- The most common raptor farming build is a suicide build: you hope to make everything explode and collect the loot before Shadow Form ends. This complicates the botting logic.
- Raptor farming is mainly lucrative for the chance of getting rare items such as Elemental Swords. However, items are not nearly as liquid as gold. Especially in a game like GW with an unnatural economy.
- As most gold selling happens in US dollars, its sharp decline is making the whole industry non-profitable.
- GW1 is EOL'd.

Very good points
I want to add the ele builds requires movement like football player to aggro but not get trapped by the raptors (ideal you want ALL around you) and then you have to be keeping 4-5 different buffs which can't be fired off in a static pattern.

It is kinda ironic isn't it.
Anyway, my theory? It is because it is in GW:EN. To use GW:EN a bot farmer has to buy two games (presumabely factions for the shadow form A/E farm build and the fast level up) and GW:EN. If the bot gets banned, the farmer loses 2 games instead of just one. It is less profitable because they have to cover the extra investment cost.

Air of Superiority changes all that.........I have been farming raptors from the start and about a week later i removed Fire Attunement for AOS, 99% of the time AOS will recharge Shadow form giving you enough time to pick up your drops and map out, I rarely DIED.
